2017 Meridian Canadian Open - Casey Scheidegger wins

Casey Scheidegger has won the 2017 Meridian Canadian Open.

She defeated Silvana Tirinzoni 5-4.

Scheidegger captured her first Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling championship in her first Grand Slam appearance. She earned $30,000 with the victory and clinched a berth to the season-ending 2017 Humpty’s Champions Cup at the end of April in Calgary. 

Enright’s brother Geoff Walker is the lead on Team Gushue who won the 2017 Meridian Canadian Open Men's title.
